Doctors, like artistsI’ve been busy over the last month, promoting The Bad Doctor. Here is a list of recent interviews and reviews.

I’ve had a review in the independent , a shelfie, and wrote a piece for them about OCD, which seemed to go down well.

This review is hard for me as I just want to press this book into people’s hands and tell them to read it for god’s sake. As a GP I can vouch for its verisimilitude – the patient vignettes are absolutely bang on and reflect the utter privilege, frustration and wonder I feel every day when I go to work. I also loved how Williams managed to weave Iwan’s humanity into every page. Like his patients, Iwan is a person too, and he matters; his is a story worth telling. Also, his senior partner is a dick. We’ve all been there…

Doctor vs Tramp


Here are some more pages from my forthcoming graphic novel The Bad Doctor, to be published by Myriad Editions next year.

This is the black and white linework. I’m hoping to add a 50% grey tone too (see the bottom of this post) but am going to add that in the correction stages, once I’ve got the whole caboodle done in black and white.
